Canteen Staff - 2026 Kiwifruit Harvest Season- TE PUKE

We’re on the lookout for energetic and enthusiastic Canteen Staff to join our friendly canteen and catering team for the 2026 harvest season. Working alongside our Catering Managers, you’ll play a key role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and our people well-fed and happy.

Our canteen team is at the heart of what we do. During harvest season (generally March to June), we proudly provide free kai every shift, and this role is a big part of making that happen. This is a fixed-term role to support the increased workload during our busy harvest period, with both day and night shift opportunities available.

What We’re After

• Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in a similar role is a bonus, but not essential
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen and juggling a variety of tasks
• A strong focus on cleanliness, food safety, and attention to detail
• Physically fit and happy being on your feet for most of the shift, with some lifting involved
• A great communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude
• Willing to learn, take direction, and lend a hand where needed
• Flexible, adaptable, and happy to support an evolving operation
• Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge is an advantage
• Proof of identity and the right to work in New Zealand
