Payroll Administrator


We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Administrator to support our administration team during our busy season. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data, and is committed to accuracy and confidentiality.

Location: Te Puke
Employment Type: Fixed-Term (March-June with the potential to be extended)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Payroll Administrator to ensure employees are paid accurately for all hours worked
  • Assist with payroll processing, including entering hours worked and verifying attendance data
  • Check clocking times against attendance records and ensure accuracy of working hours and costing codes
  • Ensure all required approvals are received to finalise payroll data
  • Provide general office and administrative support to the wider team
  • Assist with phone calls, enquiries, and visitor reception in a professional and friendly manner

About You

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Comfortable working with systems and data entry (Payroll experience is an advantage)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and willing to support a variety of administrative tasks
