What You'll Do: 

As our new Quality Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our fruit consistently meets the highest quality standards. You will oversee the quality systems throughout our post-harvest operations, leading a dedicated team and collaborating closely with growers, packhouse, and export partners. Your responsibilities include:

- Managing team rosters and scheduling for optimal efficiency

- Developing your team's performance through coaching and training

- Conducting performance reviews and fostering individual growth

- Addressing and managing any performance-related issues with empathy and support

- Problem-solving critical issues to maintain product quality

- Maintaining up-to-date training in Food Safety and H&S compliance

- Oversight of Quality Team conducting the following tasks:

          - Phytosanitary Requirements and Grade Defects

          - Ensuring weights, counts, and fruit labels meet standards

          - Interpreting phytosanitary results and implementing necessary actions

          - Verifying market status and applying restrictions as needed

          - Efficient repacking with minimal fruit loss

          - Confirming pallet specifications before loading
