Assistant Orchard Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an experienced manager, contribute to orchard productivity, and build strong relationships with orchard owners while delivering outstanding fruit quality and value.

About the Role

As Assistant Orchard Manager, you will support the management of kiwifruit orchards to achieve high productivity, excellent fruit size, and above-industry dry matter results. You will assist in coordinating orchard activities, contractors, and seasonal workflows while maintaining strong communication with our growers when required.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in horticulture, orchard operations, or a related field
• Understands kiwifruit production cycles (preferred but not essential)
• Is organised, proactive, and solutions-focused.
• Communicates confidently with clients and team members
• Enjoys working outdoors and as part of a collaborative team
